Indiana Jones IV officially confirmed for May 2008

They could use CGI to make him look younger, too.

Still, if it is set in the 50s, they could get Jackie Chan to play an adult version of Short Round. (OK, they would have to use CGI to make him look younger, too, but Jackie Chan buddy movies do well)

Personally, I'd prefer that there not be anyone besides Indiana Jones himself from the previous films in this one, except perhaps for his dad (if it makes sense in the story) and perhaps Sallah (if Indy happens to travel to Egypt or thereabouts). :)

Marcus Brody obviously won't be in it as Denholm Elliot (the actor who played him) passed away some time ago. :(

Actually from what I heard it is set some time in the 1950's so the character will be around 15 years older than when we last saw him.

Even with an older Indiana Jones, I hope that he isn't too mellowed-out for this film.

I instead want to see Indy partake in a brand-new adventure with a mostly all-new cast in mainly the same style as the previous films, not for him to suddenly be answering to the faults of his past or dealing with regrets – he's Indiana friggin' Jones, after all! ;) While the action will obviously be toned down a bit due to Indy's advanced age, I still want my money spent toward experiencing a rollicking Indiana Jones style pulp adventure once again.

I seriously hope that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg can keep the story/plot of this movie close to the vest until Opening Day, but I doubt they'll be able to prevent the eventual leaks. :(

This'll be the first Indiana Jones film released during the Internet Age (granted, the previous three films were released in the era of BBS's, but that form of communication didn't have quite the same impact). Any sense of awe and surprise will be snuffed out early on, and the rumors and speculations about plot and such will be built up so high that practically nothing Lucas, Spielberg and Ford conjure up for Indy IV will live up to expectations. :(

Well they do have alot of material to draw upon, especially if indy has to find a special artifact.
The search for solomon's mines, the spear of longinus, the crystal skulls, eldorodo and excalibur to name a few.

I can't wait! I'm glad to see that they are keeping Harrison for this one. I just wish they could have gotten it together and put out a film 10 years ago. Maybe we'd be waiting for the 6th installement now instead of the 4th. Ah well, just glad to see that it hasn't dropped off the face of the earth.

I suspect we might be seeing Kate Capshaw make an appearance. Last time I read anything about this, it was Spielberg, Ford, and Capshaw talking about it.

I think we are seeing it now, because Harrison Ford's movie career has pretty much come to a stop. 10 years ago he was "Jack Ryan" and had some other good movie roles. His last few movies were either flops (Firewall) or just embarassing (Hollywood Homicide)
