Somehow I don't think there's going to be a massive retcon, because of a few hints in the Seven Soldiers series which supposably take place after IC. As Frankenstein is said to have the first appearance of an "important" post-IC organization. Zatanna is still feeling really guilty of the mindwipes even there.
Though also there's the Rann-Thangarr War and Martian Manhunters disappearance which also factor into the big picture somehow. Granted it may have something to do with Lex Luthor since Shazam saw he was somehow connected to everything going on, back in Countdown...
Also I think that this time when Booster Gold went back to the future, he bothered to carefully study history so he knows better about what's going on.
