Currently on a break from DMing and playing two PCs:
The first is a rebuild from my first PC ever:
Grayalyn “Grayl” Stormborn [Half-elf (Human with elf features) Battle Sorcerer 1 (from UA), Feats: Precocious Apprentice [bonus spell: Acid Arrow] (p. 181 CA); Acid Splatter (p. 37, CM), CN ]: Grayl is the son of a pair of adventurers, a male human fighter and a female elf sorcerer, whose parents were killed while adventuring when he was a small child. Due to the unsanctioned nature of their relationship and his unfortunate tendency to favor his human side, his mother’s elven enclave, a mageocracy ruled by his grandmother, rejected Grayl. Raised by a series of his parents' adventuring associates, Grayl had a wild and unsettled childhood although quickly demonstrated some of both his father’s abilities with the longsword and his mother’s talent for magic. Today Grayl is a charismatic but rootless young man with jet black hair, acid green eyes, a cutting smile and a slightly elven cast to his features. Filled with wanderlust and a need to prove himself to those who raised him, to his elven kin, and mostly to himself Grayl has taken up his parents’ path and seeks adventure. Gray favors the sword, using his magic (particularly his acid splatter spittal) to suprise his opponents.
Theresh Ahng [Desert Half-Orc (UA) Cleric of Ganesha the Remover of Obstacles; Domains: Travel and Destruction; Feats: Run (racial bonus feat), Track NG]: Ahng (Theresh is his clan designation) was raised among a mixed tribe of orcs, humans, and half orcs in the Far Wastes. At an early age his parents sold him, a common practice in the wastes, to a traveling cleric of Ganesha known simply as Walker. His life was actually much better with the cleric, although he missed his family he had more food and water, learned to read and write, and got to see much of the world. Walker recently pronounced that he had trained sufficiently to advance from Acolyte to Cleric. His final challenge, he was told, was to go out into the world, to walk and to remove barriers, something he does with a great degree of joy. From a distance Ahng looks like a somewhat short and stocky human with coppery skin, but upon closer inspection his ears, solid black eyes, and slightly protruding jaw betray his orcish heritage. Although some approach him with some initial prejudices because of that, they soon find that Ahng is a clever and winsome fellow always ready to help a friend, or potential friend, with a problem. Ahng wears chain mail and carries a heavy steel shield emblazoned with Ganesha. He carries a Mace that he calls Gatecrasher.
Also in the party are a Female Human Battle Dancer and a Male Halfling Scout (subing some skills in exchange for Open Lock).
The game I run, currently on hiatus, is set in Ptolus. You can read all about it, and the characters, at
Delver's Square.
