Inquisitor Prestige Class errata?

I've been trying to create an Inquisitor (Defenders of the Faith p.51) using standard D&D rules and have run across something that seems like an errata. There was nothing about it in the most recent D&D FAQ or on the errata pages, so I'd like to expose it to the eyeballs that reside here.

The "Special" requirement of the Inquisitor Prestige class (ibid p.51) says that the character must be a member of a LG church. This probably implies a LG Deity.

The Inquisitor Prestige Domain lists the following Deities as requirements (ibid p.79):

Heironeous (LG), Moradin (LG), St. Cuthbert (LN).

So how can a Cleric of St. Cuthbert ever become an Inquisitor? My DM intuition says that the Special requirement is incorrect: It should allow members from a LN church that excludes evil members (namely St. Cuthbert).

Another thing to ponder is if this setup is intentional. That would mean that it's designed so that a Contemplative of St. Cuthbert can pick up the Inquisition Prestige Domain. This seems rare and unlikely.

So what do you folk think?

Any reason you can't have a Lawful Good church to a Lawful Neutral God? You don't need to have the same alignment as the god, does that apply to churches? I don't think so, but I can't fins anything specific one way or another.

Clerics

As far as I know, a LN god allows LG clerics. As such, St. Cuthburt's church may very well include a number of LG priests, and it is not at all hard to imagine a church dedicated to him composed entirely of LG followers.

A LG church of a LN Deity sounds like a reasonable workaround. However, I still think the requirement of a LG church is rather strict... it should allow LN churches of any god that excludes evil from membership. I don't picture the Inquisition as being LG, but LN (gotta carry out those nasty punishments somehow). Time for a house rule. :)

Given that paladins can have St Cuthbert as a patron, I fail to see the problem.
