Instant Stat Blocks For Windows Users!

All hail barsoomcore! All hail andargor!

Excellent work gentlemen! I really, really, really like it. Just the thing I needed for my new PDF project. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It'll make any kind of stat blocks you like -- if you add them to it. The included stat blocks are for 3.5 beasties from the SRD, but you can use the add stat blocks function to add stat blocks from any game you like.

I used it a bit, then Konfabulator started pestering me to purchase it, then it started giving me a popup that could only be closed by shutting the software off. Seeing as the only thing I'd really be using it for is your statblock generator, I can't justify buying Konfabulator. :(

Fair enough. I've used it without paying for a long time and just left the little message sitting there on the screen (it's always behind some other window anyway), so not a big deal for me, but not being free changes things a lot, I'll agree.

I guess I never really answered part of your question.

I thought that it worked well, although one thing confused me initially. When the stat block is generated, I had no idea where it was. If it could be visible, or a little popup that says "The Statblock is ready and currently located in the clipboard to be pasted into a document", it would eliminate some of the initial confusion. Other than that, I though it was a nifty little program, and useful. I'll probably leave the Konfabulator installer on my PC and just install it when I need to generate a bunch of stat blocks all at once, and then uninstall it so I don't have to deal with the onscreen message.

the problem I had with the message was that it always showed up overtop of some of the most used shortcuts on my desktop, and I kept having to move it out of the way everytime I wanted to use them.

Mm, that's a good idea. I worry about the annoying extra click with every operation, though. But it could have a "Don't show this again" checkbox on it, couldn't it?

Sure it could.

Good idea, CL. I'll see about implementing such a thing.

Problem With Adding New Monsters

First off: I really like this widget! My only problem is after I add new monsters they are gone the next time I open the widget. :( Please help!
