D&D General Intel on Darkhold

Recently, I've been doing some research and brainstorming about a new adventure for my group of lvl 12. My research has taken me into the region of Darkhold in the Forgotten Realms. Personnaly, I find this place interesting, but all of the information that I have on it is based on the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide. Does anyone know any sources (books, sites, etc...) on Darkhold ?

There is very little established lore on it. I think it was always intended to be a DM sandbox. Most of the sources listed in the fan wiki are only references to it. Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast (2e) has a 2-page description of the history of the place, with very little current info.

SCAG has s bit, very little in 3.0 FRCS.
