Intelligent Items & blindsense range

Intelligent items with higher mental statistics have blindsense. But it seems that the range of blindsense ability is not shown. How long should it be?

I would default to 30 to 60 feet, as monsters with blindsense typically have a range like that.

The 3.5 DMG, pg 269, gives blindsense to items with other senses that extend to 120 ft. The way the table is written I would say that the blindsense extends that far, too. If that seems over powered you could always pare it down to 60 or 30 feet. Even Dragons only have blindsense out to 60 ft.

But with an item that powerful, you're probably approaching artifact levels. This isn't something a PC makes but finds.
