Is it just me, or does it seem silly to talk about how disgusted you are with something while using that something?
Has the internet not enriched the dungeons and dragons world. Are we all not here, talking and communicating and sharing about dungeons and dragons stuff. Does our favorite website supported by the same electronic material that WOTC plans to put on its website for subscription?
A more direct question. would dungeons and dragons even survive without the internet, or would it have been swallowed up by the MMORPG craze.
I'm reading some of these threads and I keep looking outside for the end of the world. Where's the blood red moon at? Life magazine, that has pubished for 90 years.. 90 freakin years, has gone to an online format. Other magazines, such as Time and Newsweek are looking at similar models.
It just seems ungrateful to the internet that you use it to talk about how wretched it is for your hobby when I believe it is the leading contributing factor to saving the hobby.
