Am I the only person still watching this show?
I have to admit, it's getting me hooked. Like lost, it's slow on the exposition (though I suspect it's going to start speeding up).
Not that we know a whole lot yet, but after this episode, at least we know that the Sherrif was "taken" (or whatever) several years before the events of the series. At least, that's strongly implied.
I'm curious about his line that "some will measure up, and others will not." This suggests something that's been creeping me out since the first episode: Whatever happened to these folks, do they have some sort of *will* independently of whatever took them over?
One thing that strikes me as a big hole: if it was the sherriff's remains that they found in the swamp (implied by the picture inscription and the ring), why would it have taken almost a decade to find it, and why find it NOW of all times, when there are all sorts of fresh corpses around to be found?
