Invisibility target and 100 lb./level

In the Invisibility spell it says:
"Target: The character or a creature or object weighing no more than 100 lb./level"

Does the "weighing no more than 100 lb./level" in that phrase only apply to the object? Or does it apply also to character and creature?

Can a 3rd level wizard that weighs 350 lbs. turn himself invisible? Can he turn his horse invisible?

Well when you look at target you find half the answer.
Target: the character or a creature or object weighing no more than 100 lb./level.

Therefore if target is caster his/her wieght doesn't matter. Wieght matters only if cast on something/someone else. Personaly I would say the wieght includes equipment but YMMV.

When you target a creature, you turn them and all their held stuff invisible.

When you target an object, the object can weigh no more than 100 lb / level of the caster.

That's how I read it.

EDIT: Gotta love the English language!

Here's the exact text of the spell:

Now, there are a couple of ways to read this ...

1. (You) or (A Creature) or (Object weighing no more than 100 lb. / level)
2. (You or A Creature or Object) weighing no more than 100 lb. / level
3. (You) or ((A Creature or Object) weighing no more than 100 lb. / level)

I think it's 1, since the only time I can think of weight-restrictions in spells it either deals with encumbrance (i.e., Flight) or the size of objects (like Telekinesis).

Damn my early morning foggy brain and lack of playing in a long long time.
You are correct the weight restriction should only be for an object.
In other words: You can turn yourself invisible, you can turn your ogre buddy invisble but you can't turn a mountain invisible.
