Ionian Dreams (Bront Judging)

" I thought you just wanted to scope out the scene of the first terrrorist attack. Any ideas for a second line of action if that doesn't pan out?", Gremlin says, adressing Highbrow.

As his teammates raised a cacophony of queries Highbrow sat stoically. His fingers were interlaced save for his index fingers pressed against pursed lips.

“Indeed I plan on surveying the site of the last attack. Often using my subconscious faculties allows me to make Quantum Leaps of deductive reasoning. At the moment I am correlating a list of likely targets in the area. If the investigation efforts at the site prove fruitless, we may have to ‘stake-out’ the most likely targets. Also we may be able to acquire the services of an informant.” He puts his hands down and his laptop prints something without him touching it. “As for communication, I can create a Neural Link between us all. This is not telepathy, and I will not be able to read your mind. But it will allow you to transmit and receive communications by thinking it. Though I will only do this with willing participants. One rather immature team member refused the link, believing that I would invade her adolescent mind. I can assure you that it is scientific fact that I cannot…via this method. This link cannot be overheard using conventional methods and is our most secure option for communication.”

Gremlin rolls his eyes, Can you read my mind now? "When do we head to the site?", the impatient dwarrf asks?

[SBLOCK=Highbrow]Knowledge: Tactics indicates that Kurtalan does not seem to be a particularly tactically valid target, although it is admittedly difficult to determine the tactics without first knowing the actual motive of the group. Without the necessary data to determine why Kurtalan is a valid target, it will be difficult to determine other valid targets, so what must suffice are a list of cities in the area, as strategically, without an actual motivation to use to determine strategy, it seems most probable that a group that performs terror on this scale may also try another attack of similar or perhaps greater scale in a similar venue.

None of Highbrow's connections has anything major to add on this one.

Highbrow can't easily investigate without more clues from the scene of the crime.
