"Look." From the building top, CPU shoot a ligthning bolt that die out in the air at some point. "That was roughly a kilometer, the maximum range of my powers. 500 meters is half that."

"Thanks dude! I think I got it now." Griff moves to start searching.

*Griff sees plenty of cars in this mysterious '500 metre' range, most of them heading away from the disaster to somewhere safer, but none that seem like they have been used to bring the snipers and then left sitting there.*

(OOC: Awesome-funny and quite appropriate about Griff not knowing metric :D)

OOC: I am guessing that the listing of Cambridge, means you might have something to do with that college there or something. ;) Remember, most Americans couldn't tell you how far a meter is, how much a liter is or how much a kilo really is. I have a decent understanding of the metric system to my background and current job.

(OOC: It's not Cambridge, UK--it's Cambridge, MA (Massachusetts). And I do know that most Americans don't know the metric system--that's why I thought it was funny--it's accurate :D)

OOC: I liked that comment too... and I must tell that I never thought about that. I am so used to metrics that I never though my character, an American, could possibly not know it...

(OOC: Yeah, I figure he would probably have used feet. Silly Americans and our feet  I was actually close to giving a hero point for RPing an ignorant American well and amusing us, but I barely didn't ;))

OOC: Many systems award XP or other things when someone make laugh the other with some IC comments that fit well the character and situation... I think I would have awarded an HP... but that's me.

(OOC: My initial reaction was to give one, but then I thought it might seem too mundane for a 'hero' point. I guess if you would actually agree with it too that I'll do so. 1 new hero point for Griff for his 'stupid american' complication :D)

OOC: There is only one golden rule to RPG, wathever all the books can tell: Have fun! So why not reward people who gives fun to everyone, ro at least to you. :) It's just like, in LEW, I love Rinaldo, and when I play him, I show it by the quality of my posts and some masters have already given me bonus XP for that good roleplay. I think it should be the same in LS, but gives HP instead of PP, as giviong 50XP in D&D is not the same as giving 1PP in LS...

OOC: I know its MA and no the UK and the "college" I was referring to was a little school called Harvard.
