Carrion gets ready to help searching, but sees that Griff is already back just as he is getting ready to take off.

Wow, this guy is good.

Carrion looks at his digging. Seeing that he all but moved the entire contents of the building from one pile to another, he stops. The powdery building material has colored him a off-white hue, with the occasional dark red mark from where he found someone. Carrion takes several long stides and approaches Highbrow

"So how are we doing, boss? Figure out some ideas for our next move? Because I was thinking, our cover's blown and the enemy knows we're in the country, right? I figure, if they take us for a threat, they might come after us. Maybe you should be a bit more obvious with your scanning. You know, give yourself away. Maybe then, they'll know we're listening and set a trap or ambush for us. But you see...we'll know that they know we're tracking them, so we can ambush them, instead."

Carrion pauses for a moment, his lizard-vulture head making it hard to read his emotion.

"Okay, that might be a dumb idea but, you know, I'm just trying to contribute," he adds sheepishly.

(OOC: Okay, so basically that means you three are waiting on a member of the set {CPU, Highbrow} to do something?)
Gremlin is going to continue to try and save more innocents, while the investigators continue to figure out what to do next.

OOC: Any american with training in science is going to be fairly familiar with metric

(OOC: h4h has been quiet, so I'll give this Highbrow tidbit--

Highbrow's mental analysis indicates that if the enemy was stymied by your actions and feels you are a threat, which seems highly probable based on the minimisation of damage that you were able to achieve, Carrion's plan may very well lead to a retaliatory strike, at least if the enemy think they can win. Otherwise, they may hide away. )

"I don't like that idea. I prefer to find them than see them finding us, at least, if we go to them, we will be prepared, and if needed, we will eb able to lure them on the field of our choice. If we await, they migt wait at a moment where there will be too much civilian in our path." tells CPU, thiking how to track more efficiently.

(OOC: Bah! Harvard is not a very nice place. I know--I've been there for Campus Preview Weekend. MIT all the way ;))

OOC: Well if you want to learn car repair or culinary arts, I guess a technical school is a good idea. ;) :p

Hawkeye

(OOC: Ah, that's a votech school. Of course, if you want to go to a place where the male students are jackasses to an extent that I have a crazy horror story of my time there, the professors don't have to teach undergraduates and kick out any president who tries to bring a stop to this, the study abroad program until recently didn't even exist, requiring you to actually leave the college to study abroad, the computer science department is so miniscule that after a few classes, they just send you to MIT CS classes, and so you wind up graduating with a degree in Bengali and praying that the connections and the name-brand on your resume will get you somewhere, by all means, go to Harvard  :p)

"If our investigations lead to a dead-end, then we may very well have to present ourselves as targets. But I would not suggest duch a recourse until all other avenues are exhausted."

OOC: Will Disable Device work to remove the Gem? Its our best clue and if we take it with us we may be able to track where it came from or determine a weird energy signature we can track.

[SBLOCK=Oops!]As Highbrow start to play with teh gem, CPU stop him. "Ok, what are you doing? That is the dumbest move I have seen you doing. That gem, if it is the explosive, is not about to blow. You are working on the top of buidling with me and Griff next to you. I know you are quite skilled, maybe even more than me, but if you miss it, you blow yourslef up, me and Griff too, that building too, and I wouldn't be surprise to see civilians hiding in it. So, if you want to continue the work of these terrorist, you are doing fine, but if you want the opinion of a guy who has been working with explosive for teh last 10 years, you should carry this body into an empty area and work alone. I suggest to let work on it, with my forcefield, if it blow up, I have a lot more chance to survive than you."[/SBLOCK]
