OOC: Velmont, Highbrow is not playing with the gem at all. I was asking out of character is the skill used to remove it would be Disable Device. Highbrow would probably prep before attempting it which I would post in-character. But I want to know the skill involved first.

"Well, George, I felt like I was out of my element when it came to this pseudo-military operation. But now that that we're dealing with explosive magical gems, I feel like we're all pretty baffled. These terrorists must have someone with extraordinary skills aiding them. That might make them more dangerous but might make them easier to track down, as well."

Carrion leans against his newly created pile of rubble, rubbing the dust out his black, shark-like eyes.

"Don't worry about tactics. Big guy like you, just pick their toughest looking guy and go after him. You did great in the action, a lot of people owe their lives to you. As far as who we're up against... I didn't like the way they just started blowing up. I mean if they were snipers, it wasn't like they were here as suicide bombers. I thought at first they might be doing it against their will, like the IRA does. I mean, I've heard they sometimes take a guy's family hostage and make him do terrorist acts. But then they just started to explode. Whatever the case is, whether they are metahuman or what, these guys are bent on killing a lot of innocents and we need to stop them.", Gremlin says after taking a short break from moving rubble. " "Hey, see that big block right there. I have a hunch that there might be some folks under it, but its too big for me to move. How about giving me a hand?", the dwarf says pointing to a large piece of wall that he has beeen steadily uncovering.

OOC: Gremlin is somewhat caught up in trying to find survivors and will have to be asked to try his nullify on the device.

"This Ruby is odd. I don't see a means of it being surgically attached and as it is the only odd thing about him...It may be the cause of the explosions somehow." He tells his allies. He then accesses his computer, mentally running an image recognition program on the insignia.

OOC: Heh! Thought so. Highbrow will see if he can get any info on the Insignia.

(OOC: Based on the "he tells his allies" part, I'm assuming Carrion has some idea of what has been found. And based on "cause of the explosions somehow" part, he made the explosive magical gems comment. Agreed, the magical part was his own contribution to the idea, but Carrion is a student of pop-culure and gems always seem like magical elements in these kinds of things.)
