Ionian Dreams (Bront Judging)

"Highbrow, tell Griff to shut his mouth and come here, we need to leave and report that to Steele before he learns it with CNN!" tells CPU in teh indlink, obviously annoyed that Griif hadn't followed his order to come and leave.

*Since Griff seems to be more willing to answer the questions, the reporter continues:*

"Do you think we are experiencing the first wave of new terrorist technology that will make it easier for them to plan massive attacks like these without being caught? Do you think this merits increased security measures in the area to prevent further attacks? Perhaps strip searches of nonauthorised personnel?"

"Dude its your country. You guys come up with a plan and go with it. Why should you care what one American tourist thinks? Anyway, I got to go. Bye!"

Hawkeye

"You are not a tourist, or at least you are not just a tourist. Yo uare also a hero, and you have fought these terrorists first-hand and saved many lives. In the same way that people give weight on the military concerns to veterans and soldiers, they would give your opinion weight on dealing with these new PKK attacks," the reporter replies, hoping for more responses.

(OOC: If you actually pick up and fly away leaving him hanging, just mention that)

Thats exactly what Griff does.

Once in the air, Cedric cover the group with an illsuion of a cloud. And then: "Griff, when you recieve an order, you should obey. If I ask you to come, it wasn't only because we had to report. 'Turkey has some of the most beautiful and sexy women in the world!' Damn! Some will be happy to hear that, but that is a minority. I am not sure how will react all those muslim, who have another vision of men and woman relation, nto talking about our Organization! You are a public face, and such superficial talk isn't the image we want to give to the people of the world. You are lucky, they won't have any trace of that, I've been manipulating the video and audio recorder, but think when you speak up at a camera, even more after such event, you are not a tourist, but a Resolute, and you should act and talk in front of a camera as such. And don't forgot, we are not suppose to be here, it is undercover operation. I thought with all these hollywood film, you should haev known you should tell a thing before the end of the story (and in real life, even after the end of the story).

Now, we must hurry and report to Steele before he hears the news. I don't want him to learn that from CNN. I don't know what the news will do with what they got."

Griff's usual jovial face goes flat. He looks at his left and right shoulder and then looks at Cedric's shoulders and collar. "I don't see any rank insignias on me or on you. Don't assume that you can just give me an order and I'll automatically follow it. You want to bark orders and have someone follow them automatically, get a robot or a dog. Thats not me, dude. I won't leave you hanging when the going gets tough, but I didn't sign on for "be all you can be" either. I am here to help people and have a good time in the process. I thought the last minute change of plan was to act as if we WERE tourists and just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Look at our group. Which one of us is best suited to portray a dumb American tourist? I may not be able to program a computer or do brain surgery, or solve an algebra problem, but I think that I can pull of the dumb American tourist very well and be more than capable of carrying it out. The rest of you guys are too smart to make it convincing and Carrion here is probably too scary to make a good spokesman. I wouldn't be surprised if they called him some demon or something. Anyway, I look much better on camera than the rest of you dudes anyway. So the next time you guys make a plan, stick to it! I won't have to pull something out of my butt that you disagree with because one of YOU brainy types changed things at the last minute. Be mad at each other that you couldn't agree on a plan. Don't be mad at me for having to carry something like that at the last second. I don't think as fast or even like you guys do."

With that, Griff flies on in silence.

"True, you are better in front of a camera than me, but the idea to pretend to be tourist was to keep a low profile. Talking to the camera is not the idea of what I think to be low profile." replies Cedric. "And I don't pretend to be your superior, but you are in a team. Up to now, I don't think anyone have any reason to not trust each other. That mean that if you, or any one else in the team gives me an order, I will probably follow it, because I don't know everything, and the teammate who gives me an order, it must be for a good reason. If my teammate abuse of this trust, I might disobey, but up to now, I see no reason to do it."

ooc: I did correct Highbrow's post about the mixup between 'sir' and 'madam' before any but Rystil replied. I have vey little precious online time until Time Warner decides to get thier act together. So I rushed through the posts. Highbrow wouldnt have made such a stupid mistake, I probably wouldn't have either if not for my present circumstances.
Treating the OOC mistake IC, at the moment is frankly not fun for me at all.
I am going to go ahead and let Rystil ghost Highbrow so I wont make another mistake.

(OOC: Oops--next time, write a new post pointing out the edit and I will, of course, edit as well. You see, I didn't even notice your edit because it came after my response. I thought Highbrow was trying to insult the man :o)
