iPhone 4E Apps?

Iplay4e

I use iplay4e religiously. If I thought I could get away with it, I'd ask all my players to use it instead if dice. It's way faster and more efficient than rolling and calculating yourself.

I would gladly pay 10 bucks for this free app and still feel like I got a good deal! I would love to see a similar app for use when DMing. If I could make a group of monsters (maybe uploaded from monster builder) and roll their attacks with my iPhone, it would save so much time at the table. Again, I'd gladly pay 10 bucks or more for such a program.

Anyway check out iplay4e.com. Best app for 4e ever!

Disclaimer: I wish I had something to do with that amazing program!

Most everything in my app is calculated. I simply don't facilitate creating characters or leveling them up which seem to be the big no-no's from the powers that be perspective.

Working on an icon for it now and then it will be submitted to the store. It will hopefully be available by the middle of September.

What do you mean by "facilitate creating characters or leveling them up"?

You can't hit a button and create a character, You will still have to use the players handbook along with the app to create a character. Same goes for leveling up. the information on what changes when a character levels is not stored in the app. It is just a replacement for the character sheet in that it stores the information and calculates what it can but doesn't replace the need for the books.

Gotcha...makes sense.
