Iron/Ceremic Competitions

Schedule

IMHO the most helpful service you could provide would be a calander, showing when various Iron and/or Ceramic thingies start, so anyone interested in starting a new one would know what times are "free", and people interested in participating in an established one would know when to start compulsively re-loading. ;)

Is someone asking for help? :)

Help would be greatly appreciated this is actually a pretty large project. I've started on the, what I thought would be a simple, database design and it has gotten rather large.

If you would be willing to help please email me at tomener@ptd.net.

I call that place, "EN World."

Seriously, there are just too many Iron Whatsis'es these days. They don't seem as special anymore. It's like having a SuperBowl every Sunday.

I know. I was going to design the site so that it would be better for running the games then a standard message board is. However I'm not going to give to many details until it gets closer to the time to open the web-site.

That would be interesting, however I have something much more grandious in mind.

Think of it this way: you NEED to be able to do the scheduling/calendar stuff anyway. Why not do it first, and have a simple but actually working website to start with?

Trust me: it's far better to have a small, useful thing than to almost have a big, maybe-useful thing.

As for consultation, I'm pretty busy right now -- but I could point you in the right direction with regard to tools, etc.

Nifft,
I've been a web-developer for four years now. Man power I could use but resources I have. Thank you for the offer though.

Actually the overall system is not going to need a calander at all. It is going to be a game server focusing on playing iron/ceramic games. If no one uses it, it'll still be a fun project.

If anyone is interested in helping in any way please shoot me an email at tomender@ptd.net
