Iron Heroes or the book of Iron Might?

I want to use more dynamic fights in my next D&D campaign setting. I own Iron Heores and really like it. I'm curious about the book of iron might. Which one would you suggest?

Iron Heroes changes PC's so that magic items no longer have such a big influence on a character. BoIM basically brings in a called shot type system where you can take negatives on your to-hit rolls for the change to hit a specific location. If you do hit you can then do things such as blind your opponent, etc.,

It depends what you're after really.

Ironically, I think that the answer is "both". If you want stunt and action options to add on to regular D&D, that's Book of Iron Might. If you want to go with a campaign where there's little magic and all action, that's Book of Iron Heroes. (Warning: the latter has heavy errata. You'll want to download it if you use Iron Heroes.) I have both and I use both depending on the need. Generally, I run Iron Heroes as a stand alone game.

Actually, that's also Iron Heroes... skill challenges, combat challenges and combat stunts from Iron Heroes are easily added into D&D and would add a lot to the game.
 

I'd go with Iron Heroes personally. Actually, that's what I do: that's the way I handle stunts in our Ptolus game. I just adjudicate on the fly, interpreting what the players want their characters to do requiring this or that roll or applying this or that modifier to attack and/or damage rolls.

The Book of Iron Might is cool too, for the Ironborn, for instance.
 

For my D&D games I use the Book of Iron Might, plus the stunts and zones rules from Iron Heroes. I don't use the challenges from IH because they do more or less the same than the maneuvers from BoIM.
