Do we have an OOC thread? I wouldn't mind discussing our strategies.

For me it will be enough if this thread moves a bit. Maybe PB is waiting that everybody send a post saying, i'm ready, but i don't think that this should be need considering that all we have post our characters.

Btw what strategies?you mean combact tactics? march order?our route? or a bit of everything? Maybe you're right and we need to create one.

Basically, a big chunk of what my character will be doing is helping everyone else out, so it'll be good to know what everyones' general plan is once we get into a fight.

Well as a veteran warrior that Shasha is, if she has to fight her main strategy is: run like hell.
I suppose that the combat tactics depends of the situation and the foe. A thief is a wild card making a lot of stunts, flanking, SA damages, ambush surprises, avoid melee attacks if possible and highly defensive. She makes a heavy use of zones if they are. She uses her wits in any combat round.
She is really good distracting the enemy and making opportunist attacks and dodges. She has ranged weapons and his whip has reach. She uses every round at least one stunt to try to make their enemy lost their active defense bonus, and also a lot of attack and defense challenges. Sorry for not being more specific, but this character is the essence of chaos, so is creative and try not to repeat her combos. (Unless that they are exceptional good ones).

Anyway if you thing of any combo maneuver (like the colossus fast ball) that you think that we can use just tell me. ;)

Golgorak tends to summong his magic to grow to size L before wading in and slaughtering. If he has prep time, he'll also increase his strength and enchant his sword. He'll only use his intimidation when he feels the need. Other than that, its hit and hit hard, being primarily a berserker that's the best place for him.

Good. I just wanted to make sure you guys were on and didn't just post your CSheats and then go off and leave me. I was also on a mini-vacation for this long weekend. Sorry. Parents caught me off-gaurd, couldn't post.. to let ye guys know. Alright.

As the last bug falls... the heroes are battered and bruised. (I'm assuming you all at least got his once, k?) You do know what attacked you, however. They appear to be a type of Ankheg... but unlike any you've seen. As you near their bodies.. you notice their exoskeleton appears to shimmer slightly... and you can see a kind of rainbow effect appear when the light hits it just right. Also... you note a small... pulsating.. fleshly thing seeming to connect their head to the main body. It appears to be still moving slightly... despite that the Ankegs are dead. It is small... and cylindracal... like a fleshy tube. It is a pale white color and it appears to have several hairs sprouting from it. You have never encountered enything like this before. You have managed to calm your horses. You also notice that the sun is setting. You're weary from the battle and you can guess that your horses are weary from the trip.

Rholn will gesture to Golgorak and Malick to take a closer look as they have knowledge in these areas.

[sblock]You say it's connecting the creature's head to it's body - like a neck? Or is it attached to the connecting tissue, like a parasite?[/sblock]

Sasha begins to look for a good place to camp, and rest. Yaks! There is no way that I’m going to stay near of these bugs one minute more.
