Kneecap

Kneecap settles himself into one of the ornate bamboo sets adorned with golden filigree. Modesty was never one of Zog Toot's strong points.

The incense is as strong as ever. Must be awfuly strong to keep the Scoobomba-induced flatulence at bay. I can't say that it's working much though. Eeehh...

Can I get you anything?

"No, sir, I'm fine."

Dead silence lingers as Zog Toot puffs on his hookah, seemingly oblivious of Kneecap's presence.

"Uh... You called for me boss? Must be something urgent for you to call me out here so late."

A slightly flippant attitude turns obsequious as Keech extends his posture, standing upright, fingers fondling the hilt of his sword.

Kneecap quickly appends "How may I server you boss?"

Kneecap

The crimelord waggles his hookah stem at you. "No, Thrillgrog, I did not call you here; you came back to me, seeking aid and shelter." He rolls slightly on his couch, and spreads his arms in a magnanimous gesture. "And I shall grant it to you! As long as you stay here, you shall be under my protection..." Zog lowers his neatly coiffed eyebrows. "However, I shall hold you responsible for the good behaviour of the tallers."

He scratches at his bare, fleshy chest, and pauses to stick whatever it is he picked of into his mouth. "On the other hand, that you are here is fortunate, as there is something I would like to say to you." Huffing and puffing, he sits up, and fixes you with a warm smile that doesn't touch his eyes.

"I believe you to be a gobber of great promise, young Kneecap. I think we will be hearing interesting tales of your exploits in the near future. With that in mind, I'm sure you would not be opposed to offers of employment, should our interests coincide, some day soon...?"

Gavyn

Richmond lenas back, and seems to digest your offer, carefully tamping his pipe with a long, painted thumbnail.

After a long moment, he looks back up at you. "Very well, Master Dundrake. Your offer is accepable."

He waves a hand, and a small chest opens amidst one of the stacks of goods behind him. From out of it, a small sack levitates, bobbing through the air to land on the table in front of him. "The coinage you requested".

He smiles thinly, a strange light flickering in his eyes. He tucks the crystal medallion into his pocket, and murmurs in his elegant way, "And that, I believe, concludes our buisness. For now."

(OOC: The gobbers name is just Boss Zog; 'toot sweet' is an expression meaning quickly').

gavyn dundrake

gavyn greedily snatches the purse from the table and gives it a quick glance to see if the amount seems correct. [appraise +5, seems the right skill to judge the approximate number of coins.]

"alright, guv, we'll be in touch as it were. just don't forget about the rest of my pips, eh?"

seeing that the queer-eyed sorcerer seems to be engaged with a brawny northener, gavyn heads off to intercept the two before they can get lost in the crowd of gobber stalls.

two down, two to go, he thinks as he glances around for any sight of the redhead.

Tyra

The redhead gun mage sits in the corner, a slender rollup in her mouth as she does the final retwist on her ammo and pulls a small pack out to do a quick cleaning of her pistol. As she works she hums lightly to herself as she goes over her mental list that she uses after using her weapons.

Check your powder, clean your gun, stow the power, recheck your shot....She thinks to herself as she works, tucking the cleaning gear back into it's little pack where a variety of gun parts lie tucked in the oiled cloth and leather kit.

"Indeed I would, Boss. Offers of employ, especially from the ShadowSkins would be most welcome. Once my business with the tallfolk is concluded, I will return.

If that will be all, I will take my leave of you. Another day then, sir.
"

Kneecap bows heartily and hastens out the door to reunite with his companions.

Whew!

Gavyn

The bag does seem to contain the full measure of promised coins.

Kneecap

Zog's buxom serving wench curtseys to you as you scamper...err, that is to say, stride out of his chambers.

"Four of the empty rooms will be made up in the brothel for you and your tallfolk, master Thrillgrog."

(OOC: Tyra not interestd in buying any guns'n'ammo?
Those of you who are looking for each other may find each other at your discretion. Don't wait for me to tell you that you have.)

OOC: Sure.. (kinda limited on time.. and the gazateer only says 6-10 gp per shot.. so I don't know the exact cost.. and how much did we get up front?)

gavyn dundrake

gavyn tucks the bag of coins into the pouch at his belt and strides confidently over to the brawny kossite and creepy sorcerer.

"good afternoon, gentlemen," he addresses the two. "please allow me to introduce myself. captain gavyn dundrake, formerly of the royal cygnaran army in caspia, at your service." he gives an exaggerated bow, waving his hand before his head in a flourish.

"i'm an ... aquaintance ... of a mr. gleiner who suggested that i might find you here. apparently he has reason to believe that my talents," he rattles the sword at his waist, "may be of some use in your current endeavor. shall we collect the redhead and your diminutive companion and be about the business then?" he looks expectantly back and forth between the two.

Eyvind

Eyvind

*Eyvind turns to the new arrival.*

"Du know Marx, eh?" Eyvind glances at Dark and back to Gavyn. "Ja, vee get da ooders." After a moment of searching Eyvind spots Tyra sitting off to the side with her gun. "Dis vey, Eg foond da roodhead."

*Eyvind strides across the bazaar toward Tyra, trying not to step on any gobbers.*

OOC: Sometimes being tall is a good thing. :D
