[OOC:Sparrowhawk, you notice that the shoeprints are of various sizes, but most seem larger than you would expect for an elf, though not all, perhaps. You do not recognize any of the shod prints, although you are far from an expert, and could be dead wrong.]

The tracks proceed about five more paces, going half-way up the side of the hill, when they abruptly stop. Liksa sees something metallic gleaming in the grass a few paces away from the trail.

[OOC Is there any reason that the posting to this thread is so slow? If there is something that I am doing to hinder replies, please let me know. I had expected posting to go a bit quicker than this. Thanks.]...

Sparrowhawk checks the surrounding area to see if he can pick up the tracks again.

[OOC: I think I pick up the posts fairly quickly. I am not sure why this thread does not move quicker.]

Liksa goes to check out the metal, being cautious and looking around her. "There's something... metal," she says softly, pointing.

I think weekends are occasionally slow, and EN World was down for a few hours I believe, or my connection to the site was dead at least.

Stor moves over with the others, although while they examine the object he keeps a lookout for anything suspicious around them.

OOC: Weekends are slow, people leave, etc. You can't 100% expect a post from every character everyday. Also, when a single character notices something, others have to wait for that character to react to it, before they can do anything about it, thus delaying the whole process.

While Stor stands guard, Sparrowhawk investigates, finding the tracks end abruptly, and can be found no further up the hill. In fact, it almost seems as if they stop in mid step.

Liksa and Kelwan recognize the gleam as coming from a small scattering of copper coins, a mixture of Sembian, Cormyrian, and Waterdhavian mints. Additionally, a scattering of other miscellaneous items lies amonst the weeds, including several arrows, a torch stub, and some boot lacings. An old manure pile, horse most likely from the straw mixed into it, provides ample nutrition for some toad stools.

[OCC I just wanted to make sure it was not me. ;) ]

"Looks like there's something over here.", Kelwan says to the others as he carefully approaches the coins and items, to get a closer look.

[OOC: Kelwan will get closer and try to examine the area where the items are strewn, without touching anything.]
