Maybe next time we can run an Iron NPC contest, but I really think it's cool to have a game where players can show off too.

In that case, perhaps lower levels are in order. Someone at 14-16th level is going to be ingrained in the establishment, or violently at war with it. Those aren't "youthful indiscretion" levels.

IMHO the fun thing about desiging a PC vs. an NPC is charting a FUTURE vs. mapping out a PAST.

Point well taken and I will take that into account for rounds 2 and 3. Got to remember it's the first time I ran a game anything like this so I'm learning too.

I have been contemplating another Iron game but I will hold on that one until this one is finished.

According to my clock time has past, but I really really really hate the idea of giving someone a round on default. Creamsteak - as soon as you see this post reply. Anyone else first poster takes on creamsteak, if creamsteak does not post by 11:00am tomorrow then the first two posters will take on each other (current participants excluded of course).

I wouldn't mind getting in. Lost track of the participants. If I am in, does that mean:

1. I will take on creamsteak (or another alternate)

2. in the final Round 1 faceoff,

3. which will take place tomorrow?
