Lal and Harb meeting on the road works for me, Harb can be escorting a small group of church followers, or wagon of church goods into Phaendar for the festival.

Never put a name to the Village he exiled himself too. It could be Phaendar or what ever village Flint has been living in since his exile.

River Song the more I think about Vin & Corsa teaming up, the more sense it makes.

The first thing Corsa would think, upon seeing Vin (well...after "mmm, pretty"), is that he looks like an excellent mark. Obviously noble, travelling alone, and dressed simply so as not to attract attention from ne'er-do-wells like herself. She'd have sidled up to him in a tavern to have a chat, and try to suss out where he was hiding his stuff worth stealing. But after she got to know him a bit, I think she'd respect what he's about, and take a liking to the guy.

She's a sociable sort who just lost every friend she had, and with no real plans other than "get away from the coast," she'd tag along with him wherever, if he let her. :)

I like it. If both Harb and Flint had been living in Phaendar for a bit, it may help to "gel" things together... For Harb it would make a lot of sense to go to Tamran with a few church staff to get those goods, run into Lal and come back together to the village.

Here's a map of the region, if it helps anyone else figure out how to meet up.

As best I can tell, Phaendar is somewhere along the river circled in purple. (But someone please correct me if I've got that wrong!)

If I understand what everyone has said thus far:

Lal is coming from Tamran, and met Harb on the way west.

Flint is coming from Kraggodan.

Corsa came from a port on the bay in the west. Pirates couldn't get away with stopping near a big city like Korvosa, but they might be brazen enough for a quick stop in a smaller city--perhaps one to the south. She bumped into Vin somewhere along the way heading inland.

Yes Phaendar is pretty much at the tip of where the two rivers meet.

Just an FYI I may not be online tomorrow, I am training some new associates at work tomorrow so I will not have access to a computer and then I have my home game tomorrow so that will most likely take up my night.

Jason.knepper, I believe you are the only one who hasn't moved your character over to the Rogues' Gallery

I should add: anyone who's still solo, as long as you're coming from somewhere vaguely west of Phaendar, feel free to catch up with Vin & Corsa on the road. :)

I will add this, if you don’t end up knowing each other before hand, it will all work out. The first post will be an NPC telling a tall tale in the middle of the tavern, and then you will all get to introduce yourselves. If you haven’t met any of the other players, you can interject yourself by stepping center stage in the tavern and telling your own tall tale.

As a general FYI, after the getting to know you posts this AP kicks into nitrous and then slows down (a common trend in Pathfinder AP’s bate the hook and then expand the character.)

And my main rule as a DM, no matter what your character’s alignment, no matter what your abilities all I ask is that there is a reason the other characters keep you with them.

I am really looking forward to this; I’ve now read 6 or so levels deep into this adventure and its good. It has a bit of everything and I look forward to presenting all of you with the challenges that lie within.
