TOTALLY! The Bravia KDL52 BXR4 was $2,800, but on Craig's List it was kind of a deal compared to what you can get it for on Amazon. Fortunately, I was able to acquire the Toshiba HD A35 for about $280 after discounts, but then there was the wall mount bracket ($100). I have to tread very carefully.

Oh, you said 4e.
It sounds so much like HD.

Well...

I can't wait 'till she hears that 4e is only going to cost me $75. She is going to be re-LIEVED!

Yea, the wife came down and saw a lot of books laying around after the last game..."You are still going to use these books when the new editioncomes out right?? RIGHT????"

What do you say to that?

It totally is. I accidentally let it slip that the druid might not make it into the new edition, and my wife told me that under no circumstances will I ever be allowed to use a rules system that will not allow her to create her signature character, an elf druid. Voices were raised. Dishes were thrown. Then she called her mom.

Please, WotC. I implore you...help me save my marriage! Bring back the druid! I am already worried that once she sees what you have done to the elf, she will leave me for World of Warcraft. The druid might be enough to persuade her to stay.

Come on...have a heart.

My wife has a ranger who will not move during combat, so if the 4e ranger took to much of the scout's stuff, that may suck. She also has a swashbuckler/bard and a wildshaping druid/MoMF...

I said "doesn't care," but it's actually different. It's more like, "you never buy anything for yourself anymore. Go get it!" "Isn't it coming out for Christmas, or something? Why don't you buy it?"

She constantly complains that I should go treat myself and buy something, and she wants me to be happy. She also looks hot and loves me. It's getting to where I can't stand it!

No problem at all. I don't have to buy the new stuff (and in fact, at this point, it seems likely that I won't).

But if I do choose to buy it, she won't mind. Her scrapbooking addiction costs us more than my D&D habit by several orders of magnitude.
