Pathfinder 1E Is a Paizo/Green Ronin Merger Viable?

Um no.. I'd rather hope they wouldn't since then there would be no reason for Hasbro to buy out Green Paizonin so they could bury Pathfinder, True20, and Mutants and MAsterminds.

Since Paizo didn't announce that they were going with a fantasy version of Mutants & Masterminds or using True 20, I don't see why this would happen.

Green Ronin have stated that they'll be releasing something tentatively titled "Warriors & Warlocks" in the second half of this year. They may not be "going" with a fantasy version of M&M, but they at least intend to publish a fantasy supplement for it.

Yeah, I don't see how a merger would help either.

Yep. Without knowing anything about the people on a personal level, I think that since both companies are fairly small and headed by strong-minded people with strong opinions on how the game and company should develop and all that, I think that such a union would be detrimental to all parties.

Unless, of course, they could agree on who would be the boss with the final say.

So, who would be the boss? I vote for Mona.

Erik and I are old friends. He has worked for me (Armies of the Abyss and first edition Mutants & Masterminds) and I have worked for him (V for Victory RPG in Polyhedron and various Dragon articles). I'm sure we could get along. We'd need a better reason to merge than "it'd be cool" though.
