Is anyone watching Survivor anymore?

After the first few episodes you pretty much know who is staying to the end. what Survivor needs to do is make it so the alliances don't work. I figure they should throw all the players in one tribe and when it comes to reward/immunity challanges have the host randomly pick sides and which ever side loses goes to tribal council. That way it will never be the same players/alliances booting people out.

That is a great idea. I would love to see how something like that would play out.

Hmmm, I disagree. The show is very random as it is. The problem is the contestants at this point. It is still a game and has to have some consistancy. Having Jeff make decisions that effect things goes against the fiber of the contest. He is a judge and that is all. He should not be effecting the game by making choices. That is reserved for those playing.

Well, i still watch. Its not the greatest season ever but Its still entertaining.

Rupert did not earn the million dollars? Going to survivor, twice, and looseing, only too have the entire country see that he's a great person, and give him a million dollars..Okay not officall earning. But then we should hate all thoes that win in the lottery too..they did not earn it.

I hope that Amy makes it far. I like her.

I think the reason they used 18 this time around is so that they could have a third tribe made up of all the losers to compete against the other two. Think about it, they added extra people but got rid of them faster by doing back to back tribal council.

Anyway, I hope that's what happens... otherwise this is going to be the most disappointing season yet.

I think that would be a pretty good twist to throw in but essentially wouldn't that make the season longer?

plus if I was on survivor and they brought back the people already voted out I'd be kind of upset, because why should you have to outlast someone twice?

It's been done before (Survivor 7 I believe) so there is no reason to believe they won't do it again. They brought back 2 people that were voted off.

quick notes.

ash: rupert didnt earn the money within the rules of the game. lottery winners follow the rules of the game, they pick 6 numbers and those 6 numbers randomly come up. if suddenly, the states the ran the lottery randomly decided to give a million dollars to a specific person because theyre "nice" then we would all have a problem with it. giving rupert a million dollars because he is "nice" has NOTHING to do with survivor, and even if cbs wanted to do it, it should have NOT been during an episode of survivor.

to the last 3 posters: as for a third tribe coming back to haunt other tribe members, they already did that, they executed it poorly, the "fans" hated it, the show caters way too much to its fans, and burnett said he would NEVER do it again. and thats a good enough reasonf or me to not expect it to happen again.

i am glad to see jeff being a little more obnoxious, they should have always played that up, and hopefully if they ever do another all-stars he will be a contestant. i still think thats a great idea :D

I'm not sure. I think it might have something to do with having more contestants so they don't have to do one of those "recap" shows. Mark Burnett has said many times he hates those shows, as they throw the momentum of the season off.
