Is Eberron a dead world yet?

I know a lot of us are playing still in Eberron, but is it considered a "dead world" yet in regards to true product support for it's future?

I just dont' see it surviving much longer with what's happening in gaming today...

Thoughts?

What exactly is "happening in gaming today" that would give you that impression and what do you consider to be a "dead world"?

Maybe I missed "what's happening in gaming," but I know more and more people who are enjoying it and playing it. People who hated it because of the "trains and robots" have started taking the time to actually read it and enjoy what it brings to the table.

And there are a few books on the table for this year already, plus a mega-adventure.

What are you talking about? Dragon just started publishing a regular monthly feature and new Eberron products are being released every few months. The website is regularly updated and there are two active RPGA campaigns.

Isn't "Secrets of Sarlona" kinda recent?
What makes you think it's anything close to dead?

Heck, Greyhawk doesn't have nearly the level of support, and it's not dead.

-- N, confused

Dead world? I guess if you fail to keep the quori-possessed-vampiric-daelkyr-rakshasa-lord sealed behind the Gate of Doom then the world is pretty much dead.
