The ability is equivalent to the specific weapon taking infinite damage on a failed save. Much like a living creature dying to a death effect. The magmin ability as written can destroy even a colossal heavy mace ,hardness 10, 320 HP. What about a character (Monk) hitting a magmin? Saying they take 100 points of fire damage on a failed save does not seem RAW to me though I don't mind the idea.![]()
Most monks are not metal weapons last i checked. Wooden, stone, bone and other non- metal weapons go uneffected by the magmin ability.
