Is Lavos a Terrasque?

If Lavos is a Terrasque with every ability in the MM... what CR would he be?

But he's not omnipotent. For instance, he never made an appearance on PAL, merely NTSC.

Just meant that he would be extremely high on the CR scale. You could pick any very large number, ask if it was an appropriate CR, and the answer would probably be "yes." CR 55 may as well be the same as CR 1,000, as far as players/dm's are concerned.

I wouldn't. Lavos would be a plot device.

Lavos may look like a bloated tarrasque, but he isn't one. I suppose you could take a tarrasque, add levels of Sorcerer, boost his Cha...

Lavos is really much, much more powerful than a tarrasque, though. Especially since he has three stages.

I statted out a city-sized tarrasque (about 2 miles in size, which is Colossal+7, otherwise known as "Macro-Large"), as I stated above. By the templates I added, it works out to a CR just over 2000.
