Is the Healer from MHB posted online like the Marshall?

I agree. It's a good book and I don't play with minis either. Warmage is in it too. I do find the Healer to be a bit underpowered. But as is, it's a great cohort class.

There's a number of auctions for the Miniatures Handbook on ebay for fairly low prices - you probably can pick one up inexpensively.

you might also see if there's a person who is into the miniatures who might be into sharing the cost of the book and sharing the book with you.

I found the Marshall class on WOTC's site (thanks to a post here at EN World).
I was wondering if the Healer was also?

I'm not really into miniatures, and so don't want to buy the book, but I am interested in classes.

IMO, no. Unless you REALLY want the classes. I wouldn't pay full price for it.

As Revivify is being reprinted in the Spell Compendium, I think most of the MHb spells will end up there.

When it was released, the MHb was definitely worth it for the D&D content. It has been losing appeal since then.

Cheers!

"A lot" doesn't include the monsters, the spells, the prestige classes (all three of which are quite good) and two of the core classes.

A signficant minority of the MHB has been reprinted. It has not, by any stretch of the imagination, been "a lot."
OK, so maybe "a lot" was a bad choice of words. How about "a lot of the interesting stuff." :D

Honestly, i wasn't that impressed by the prcs. The bonded summoner loses too many caster levels to be useful, the dragon samurai was flat-out pedestrian and uninspired, the skullclan hunter, while definitely filling a niche, was pretty by-the-numbers and uninteresting, and the warhulk is just not a very good pc class (though, admittedly, it's one hell of a surprise for a DM to spring on his players). I found only the havoc mage and tactical soldier to be interesting, and even then just barely. Of course, this is all IMHO.

The most interesting part of the spells section to me wasn't the actual spells themselves, but the new swift action mechanic and how they integrated it into the spell system. I honestly just don't find myself using the MHB spells that often; there's usually a better option in another book.

As for the monsters... ugh. These were just dull. Seriously, the vast majority are of the "HULK SMASH!!!" variety, straightforward brawlers with nary a supernatural or spell-like ability in sight and little-to-no tactical usage beyond beating the crap out of things. Sorry, the MHB monster section just bored me to tears.

With some (;)) MHB material being reprinted, all i find it good for now is the marshal, tactical soldier, (maybe) the havoc mage, and a handful of feats and spells. Definitely not worth the price i payed for it. *shrug*

Again, this is all IMHO.
