Is there a d20 Steampunk setting?

Either WotC or 3rd party - I'm quite interested in the idea of running a steampunk campaign, and would be interested to know of any sources of ideas out there to plunder!

As I live in Australia, PDFs are generally better for me but if only available in print, that's fine too.

The second issue of the emrald sage, but Horade Press and Emrald Night Publishing, will contain a lot of steampunk stuff including info on running a campaign. Not sure on the Eta though.

The Iron Kingdom, by Perpetrated Press.

er, that's privateer press. those perpetrated folk are a different company. the iron kingdoms is a brilliant setting that began with a series of adventures called the witchfire trilogy and has been expanded upon by the monsternomicon [a monster sourcebook] and the lock & load character primer [a character creation book with details on races, classes, religion and equipment]. they promise a full hardcover campaign setting book within the next several months. all of the books are lavishly put together with stunning art. there's even a pdf adventure available from their website! [www.privateerpress.com]

can you tell i'm hooked on the setting? but don't take my word for it. check out the reviews in the appropriate section of this website!

Perpetrated Press is in the habit of releasing cross-genre stuff, though.

There is also the d20 Deadlands stuff, steampunk meets Lovecraft and B-movie Westerns. The magic rules are okay, but their Mad Science rules are very nice and have been lifted by a couple of other companies for their games.

Dream Pod 9's d20 Mecha Compendium includes a whole section of fantasy mech, steam included.

In very light doses, Paradigm Concepts "Codex Arcanis" has some small steampunk stuff, mostly guns and the legends of how the nation of Althera used to float in the sky.

For design ideas, Dragon #277 had a steampunk article.

Iron Kingdoms looks good, for what little there is. The company has promised a setting book for more than 2 years now - still not delivered. At least there is a monster book and "character primer" that was both released last year ... finally.

Around 5-6 weeks. Best of all, it's free!

I'm writing something for Horade now which will be focusing entirely on steam power and using it in a fantasy setting - not just steampunk but other styles too...

Iron Kingdoms isn't truly steampunk, either, although it does feature some "steampunkish elements." Don't get me wrong: I'm a huge fan of IK and Privateer Press, but I wouldn't really call them steampunk either. I'm quite looking forward to Sorcery and Steam myself -- that's the book this year that I didn't know I needed until I heard of it...

By the way, any word on a release date for Sorcery and Steam? Or web previews, or anything like that? The FFG website is surprisingly quiet about that book.
