Is there a medium +2 Dex race with no ECL?

In all of the expansions and Dragon Mags etc, are there any races that meet the following criteria:

+2 or better Dex
Medium sized
Favored Class: Fighter or Ranger
ECL +0

The only one that I've found is the erratta'ed Wood Elf from FRCS, but that is so, well, "elven". Monster-ish races are ok here (I'm playing a kobold presently .

If your DM is dumb enough to fall for it: Hobgoblins were ECL +0 last I checked, although Dragon 293 may have changed this. They get +2 Dex and +2 Con.

That would work. If they seem overly powerful for +0 ECL, then maybe he would take away some abilities rather than raise the ECL.

I can figure the racial bonues from the MM, but where is the ECL actually listed? And if there has been an official change, someone please let me know.

Why is the favored class important? Are you planning on multiclassing?

If the answer is no, pick the elf from the Player's Handbook.

Yes, the favored class is because of multi-classing. This character will be a Ranger1/Fighter4 before going into PrCs.

Hobgoblin is your best bet. I support them as ECL +0 as they stand-- they get even less for special abilities than the Half-Orc. Hobgoblins are about balanced against the core PHB races.

Not to beat the Half-Orc dead horse, but Half-Orc is mad suck. They should at least get a CON bonus, because -2 to Int and Cha is most certainly not a balance for the Strength bonus, especially since their Favored Class requires some skills to play well, since they're not normally heavily armored.

Other than that, you'll have to take an ECL knock. There are several good +1 ECL races, like the Tiefling and I think one of the Genasi. If you can wrangle a +2 ECL knock, Githzerai is the king of Dexterity bonuses, pulling a big +6.

Wood Elf: +2 Str, +2 Dex, -2 Con, -2 Int, -2 Cha Favored Class: Ranger; All other normal elf qualities.

Not to be critical, but do you mean Bothans, Devs, and Sullustants, or are these alternate races races that have popped up in the d20 version?

those where listed on the Wizards board. I typed in Dex +2 and their was a link to wizards board. I (unfortantly) do not yet own the SW d20 book. Its on my list, but too many books I want are comming out this year for DnD
