I was thinking we could have three stages (why plan when we can over plan?!). We could see if people want to have dinner, meet with people and find a place to go, and then have a way for late stranglers to come find us.

I think that's a great idea, gives more people the ability to hang out at different points.

I am personally of the opinion that it need not be, but others may have strong opinions to the contrary. Though I am likely to imbibe little (if at all) it certainly wouldn't bother me to see others doing so.

So - my vote is that true Gentlemen drink whatever they choose.
