I've been trying to decide whether or not to buy the "Races of" series, then I stumbled across this:

I found Races of Stone to be really good, Races of Destiny to be really bad, and Races of the Wild to be so so. YMMV.

They have the advantage of being easy to use, but they are not all something that I want to use. For that price though I'd pick them up.

From what I've seen of RoS, it seemed pretty interesting. I've seen a friend's .pdf of RoD, but haven't had a chance to really look at it closely. I've never laid eyes on RoW.

I have all 3. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Like Crothian said, for that price I'd pick it up. You get 3 books for less than the price of 2.

Yeah...that's why I bought the 3.5 books. I got three for less than the price of 2 in that deal, too.
