Is this build correct?

Hey, I was just playing around with some feats while talking to a friend about what kind of character he wanted to make for my campaign, and I came up with this.

Human Bar1/Scout5/fig1

Feats: TWS (lvl 1), Powerful Charge (human), Greater Powerful Charge (lvl 3), Improved Skirmish (scout lvl 4 bonus feat), twoweaponpounce (fig1 bonus feat)

The above leaves a feat open, the lvl 6 feat to be more precise.

So, what I wanted to know is this. Does it all stack?

I mean, can he charge and do 1d8 (longsword) +str+ 2d6 (greater powerful charge) +4d6 (skirmish + improved skirmish) +1d6 (shortsword in offhand) +½str +2d6 (greater powerful charge) +4d6 (skirmish+ improved skirmish) for a grand total of 1d8+1d6+1½str+12d6?

Seems a tad excessive to me anyway, but I can't atm figure out if I made a mistake.

Thanks in advance,

TWS is Two weapon fighting?
I don't remember exactly but the Two Weapon pounce prerequisite are high and it's a full round action, in this case you can't make a charge, another full round action?

Sorry, yes, TWS is two weapon fighting, bad habit from 2e. Two weapon pounce has dex 15, +6 BAB and two weapon fighting as pre-reqs, and the description says you can attack with both weapons at the end of a charge.

That build has a BAB of +5 (1 from fighter, 1 from barbarian, 3 from scout), so there's no Two Weapon Pounce.
But i can't see anything preventing you from taking and using TWP as soon as you have +6 BAB.

You are correct, I must have misread the chart, thanks.

I think you need skirmish +2d6/+1 to qualify for Improved Skirmish. Other than that and the issue the others have pointed out it seems fine. I don't think it is completely out of line, damage wise, though. At eighth level a raging barbarian with a great-axe can power attack for four, getting a +8 to damage. Combined with a +9 from strength (16+2 (level)+4 (rage)), a +2 from his magic weapon (he can afford a good one because he doesn't have to worry about buying two), and the average damage of his great-axe, 6.5, he does an about 51 damage if his two attacks hit. Your build does 50+1.5S, where S is strength bonus, but a little more damage is to be expected if you are using non-core sources.

You need to look at page 46 of Complete Champion. Specifically, the lion totem.

Me or the original poster? Because I was trying to stay within core to demonstrate that such damage, while high, is not over the top. But for the OP it would free up a feat (which could conceivably be Improved TWF).

Yeah, if you want Pounce, and you're allowed to use anything from splatbooks, it's hard to argue against Lion Totem Barbarian.

If you have access to Lords of Madness, consider some Aberrant feats to give yourself another pair of tentacle attacks -- the damage isn't spectacular, but who cares? You're getting another two attacks, each of which will inflict Skirmish damage.

Cheers, -- N
