Just a joke

OK, my Dread Necromancer is still himself. Turns out it was all a joke, because I was pestering them for details about what happened after I left, so one of them told me I converted to paladin and the rest ran with it. I guess I'm pretty gullible. :heh:

But all's well what end's well, eh? My CN Necromancer managed to keep his chimera zombie and his greater doppleganger skeleton. We even encountered 4 more human zombies, which I commanded, and used them to set off traps and absorb monster attacks. In the next room, we fought some bizarre aberrations with long tentacled arms (DM called them "octopins?") and after we beat them down, I animated one as a zombie. We now have a sizable undead squad, and with the psion summoning quori spirits to aid us in battle, I daresay we have little reason to expose ourselves to much danger.

Yes... a paladin in this group would probably not go over very well.

Next room... we must find and defeat "Zig-zag" the Mind Flayer!

Fun times.

Thanks, everybody! And remember to keep your character sheets!

You now need to start a running gag of nightmares your character has of being a Paladin

That's not a bad idea. Since the torture incident, he's had bad nightmares. He still flinches away whenever the psion conjures those quori...

Them things just ain't right...

See, always check and see if they're just pulling your leg before you smack them in the back of the head with a loaded dice bag.

What a shame it was just a joke think of the RP opportunities... plus all the undead followers suddenly becoming uncontrolled and turning on the party when the Paladin washes his hands of them. :D
