RD&D stands for Real D&D. I am not sure on how it came about, but in israel it is essentially synonimous to LARP. It came to the fore with Russian immigrants, so I suppose it is a translation of their own term for it. In practice most RD&D games have very little to do with D&D, and are usually more freeforms.
