It's a white Christmas!

No white Christmas here, but we got the next best thing - Cold as heck, and very overcast and windy. PERFECT stay-in weather, and plenty of time to spend with family and friends.

I'd say we've recieved around eight inches or so; far short of the two feet some alarmists were predicting.

On the whole I'm rather disapointed. :(

We had just a bit left on the ground when we went to sleep last night. This morning there must have been 5-6 inches on the ground and it kept right on snowing through lunchtime. We even went sledding for an hour this afternoon :D!!

I was enjoying the white Christmas, until we lost power at noon and our locals decided they didn't want to plow the roads. Ever tried to drive a rear-wheel drive sports car through 12+ inches of snow? Not my idea of Happy Christmas...not by a long shot. For the first time in my life, I had to tell the relatives "negative" on spending Christmas with them. And now I'm sick. *sigh* I can't win...

btw, we only got power back about half an hour ago. no power=no heat=cold Box. :(

Merry Christmas!

Montgomery, Alabama. We get an actual sticking accumulation about once or twice every ten years. We might get a flurry or two every couple of years, but nothing that sticks.
