It's a white Christmas!

Here in Connecticut we've got about an inch of frozen slush, a half-inch of packed sleet, and about 6 inches of wet, heavy snow.

Did someone mention that snow is evil? I just put down my shovel about 10 minutes ago, and I'm hurting. Haven't even had a chance to look through my new Forgotten Realms book. It's all kinds a' pretty outside, but...BAH HUMBUG!

Here in Ibaraki (which is just a tad bit north of Tokyo) we haven't gotten a single flake of snow, though its been quite cold lately. Apparently it hasn't been below the freezing mark, since we had rain less than a week ago. Darn. I wanted a white Christmas.

Whiteout!

It's still snowing like mad, here in northern Mass. We've got a good 6-8 so far, and still going. This the weathermen had to be right about. Blah.

And there are still morons out driving in it, and expecting me to pump their gas for them. Double blah. Why couldn't we have another winter like last year, where it was 50 degrees all December and January? For this we gave up freon? Where's global warming when you need it?

There was enough snow here to make it a white Christmas, and I suppose I'll just settle for that. :)

It can snow for another 2-3 weeks.... after that I want warm spring weather.. i can't stand snowy Marches and Aprils... yeuch.

Near the NY/VT corner?

Nah. Right on the border of NH. Haverhill, mentioned in several HP Lovecraft stories as the town of origin for various unfortunate souls who investigated sundry uncanny occurrances and subsequently went completely mad. Funny thing, that.

I have Norman Rockwell and Robert Frost to your HP Lovecraft stories.

I'll see your Norman Rockwell and Robert Frost and raise you a John Greenleaf Whittier, a Louis B. Mayer, and a Rob Zombie! Nyah!
:p
