Hoping that an author I respect earns cover credit for his work isn't fickle, it's respect.

Then I look forward to offering him my respect when I scrutinize his material (albeit edited) inside the DMG II.

Agreed. Why isn't his name on the cover? It's the entire reason I was considering this purchase.

The lack of his name on the cover makes me think his contribution may only be a few pages. I wanted to see dozens to hundreds of pages of Robin Laws material.

IMHO, a writer who submit a chapter full of material, should deserve a name on the cover. Then again, he is probably not the leading designer of the book, who automatically get his name up front.
