That is four.

I think I'll make the gremlins from the movie of the same name, as well as it's sequel...

Which of course brings the number to five,

Keep em' comming.

I claim this dude. Cyclops from Seventh Voyage of Sinbad. He's much better with those chopsticks when his food isn't running around.

Geo: It will be interresting to see the differences between your cyclops and the one from Deities and Demigods. There is just one burning question though: Giant or Monstrous Humanoid? :D

That brings the number to six monsters. Please keep them coming, I would like to have many options as possible for the poll. ;)

Edit: The gremlins can be found here:

Andrew: Um, you do know that we are doing 'original' D&D versions of movie monsters and not conversions of existing ones, right? ;)

Want to join in the fun?

Since I won't be peeking at either of those sources, it will be interesting.

By appearance, I would say the creature is more Monstrous Humanoid than Giant, but by habits, abilities & saving throws, more like a Giant. So I think I'll make him a Giant, but so distantly related that he doesn't speak the Giant dialect. This guy seems even dumber and more feral than the Cyclops in the Odyssey, so it shouldn't be much tougher than making a Beast.

Rob: hmm... 'God' from startrek V is a border case, but I would strongly suggest that you didn't do it for two simple reasons: 1# Some people would feel that it would be blasphemous (not me though, as I am a liberal protestant and not a trekkie/trekker). 2# I don't think that near omnipotent beings fit in this contest.
But I will leave the choice up to you.

Geo: Giant would probably be best. I suggest you use the skillpoint and feat calculations from Savage Species, thus making it a little more 3.5ish. :D
