I wonder if 'god' from Star Trek V is a valid choice?

"What does...God need with a... stat block?
That would be amusing, at least. Would inspire reverance and really big lightning bolt be special abilities?
Edit: Oh yeah, BOZ... Join us! Join us!

Demiurge out.

Here is my submission. :)

The Beast of Caerbannog appears in the movie Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. The stat block above was done by Scott Greene and me for April Fool's day, 2001. :)

THE BEAST OF CAERBANNOG!

I think I'll try whipping up The Thing, from Carpenter's version and from "Who Goes There?", not the 50s plant-man.

Let me know how that goes, Andrew. I did a "Thing" template for someone over at the Necromancer Games Tome of Horrors forum, and never could quite get it like I wanted it.

Perhaps the secret to making the thing is to *not* make it as a template, the same hold true for the aliens (from the movies with the same names).

Erica: I have seen the beast, and left a comment.

Later, and keep the entries comming, we have all of march to do this.

Oh, and Boz, please join in the fun ;)

Geo: Giant would probably be best. I suggest you use the skillpoint and feat calculations from Savage Species, thus making it a little more 3.5ish. :D

I don't have Savage Species in this month's budget. If the INT was 5 and the HD was 10, how many skill ranks and feats would that be by 3.5ish calculations?

Well, monsters get feats as characters now. The creature that gains the most with this change is the dragon, since most mid to high CR dragons have 20 or more HD... :D

But you really should get Savage Species. It is worth it.

Later,
