It's the March Movie Monster Mayhem Marathon Challenge!

You sure that they are called Acheronians? Is there anywhere online that I can see this for myself?
Don't worry about it. "Acheronian" is my own personal coinage, as the first two movies had the aliens originating from Acheron. I think the name is more specific then "alien" or "xenomorph", so I still use it.
Where did "xenomorph" originate? Is it from the Dark Horse comics?

In the 2nd movie, Lt. Gorman refers to them a "hostile xenomorphs."

And Acheron was the common name for the planet where the Aliens were first encountered in the first movie. Since they were discovered on a derelict alien spaceship, it is apparent that Acheron is not their home world.

Thanks, DnD Chick. Once again, you enlighten us.

Demiurge out.

Demiurge: As I said, It might just have been the comic ;) The "winner" will be determined by a poll that will be put up at the start of april. But as I said, the only thing you win is the prestige and admiration of your fellow monster designers.

Serge: Feel free to do it if you wish :D Would that make it twelve?

Later,

Clay_More: The 'toothfaerie' serge has mentioned is not the one from popular mythology, but rather a very nasty demon/fey from the movie Darkness Falls, a very (and I do mean *VERY*) bad horror movie.

And Kermit is still not a monster. He is a frog ;)

He's a Dire Frog at least, perhaps even a Fiendish Dire Frog in my opinion. He's friggin scary.... Like a huge Frog on Speed or some other drug. BBEG all the way man, have you seen his Henchmen?

A terrifying "Animal" armed with wooden clubs. A swedish "Chef" that causes Confusion in all that see him. A Power-attacking Dire "Pig"... I could go on, but he's definitely the Enemy. He's more scary than Dr. Phil and Mini-me put together. Its just a good thing he's so unorganised, otherwise he would rule this planet. You guys are blind to the real threats......

He's got you all fooled I tell ya, fooled!

I stand by my decision, Kermit is not a monster. He is a CG frog.

See, the thing is, if I allow kermit (which I won't) I will have to allow Smurfs, and I loathe those little blue buggers.
