"Al loves undead"

Everytime I run a new campaign somebody wants to work up to being a hunter of the dead. Probably a good thing. Undead don't eat (for the most part), sleep, and generally don't need to breathe so they can be put just about anywhere and it makes sense they are there. I do however do more than just throw undead at the party so I don't know where this comes from...

Maybe it's the time that the party was helping defend a town from an undead worshipping cult. They were in the town for a few days when they found out that the women and children were sent away basically unguarded to "safety".

A couple of nights later the zombies of the town's women and children attacked the town. I actually disturbed my players by describing the scene where they fought alongside the townsfolk who were forced to kill the zombies of their wives and children crying all the time and cursing the gods for this tragedy.

I'm just thinking of this with bunnies and burrows!
I remember hearing of one guy who ran a game that was essentially Lovecraftian Watership Down. I think it sounded fascinating! In fact, if I were to ever run anything like Bunnies & Burrows again, that's what I'd do. :D

"I hope someone's writing this down" or "That's cooler than what I had planned, I'll run with it."

This tendency for novel ideas, self detailing, and general running out of skull, is how the Nazi SS Agent ended up with a handful of Nobel Prizes for turning colors from outer space into free renewable energy source. (COC+Supers)

I've never been in those areas either, except as a little kid so young that I don't really remember it. Must just be coincidence.
