I've just got home...

We once had 2 cats. One was intelligent, one was stupid. The first one would go lay on the hood of the car, in winter, when we got home (because the motor was hot, and hence, so was the hood). The other one, not so bright, just lay on the roof of the car, which was cold, and even more so exposed to the wind... :\

We joke that our middle cat, Lina (my avatar), is brain damaged. When she was a kitten, she learned she could open the bedroom door if she pushed hard enough. So, this led to her whacking the door repeatedly with her head. When we moved, our bedroom door actually latched, but she kept bashing her head to try and open it. After over a year, she still hasn't learned.

My white kitten like to climb up on my shoulders like a parrot or something. :p Also has bad breath. :\
one of my cats does that. and he's not a kitten.
he seems to like my back alot. ie, he crawls up over my shoulders. and either sits there, or climbs over to my back.
my other cat has a foot fetish.
they sit on things like computers and books if I'm using them. they're jealous.

My cat actually jumps on the door handle. And then tries to wake you up by whatever mean is necessary. Sometimes, getting a good sleep is a problem in my house.

I've got a couple of funny pet stories to share. I have a purebred black lab. When I first got her, she was two and had been kept in a cage for much of her life. Anyways, she thought that she was a lap dog, and I was only around 7, so she was about as big as me (she was the runt of the litter). I think my legs are still bent. A couple years ago, one of my younger brothers procured an Australian shepherd(Sp?). Cutest animal ever, and usually quite bright. However, the first time my whole family left home for a trip, we locked her in one room. We had to come back for some reason, and when I went inside I heard "Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! *thunk* Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! *thunk* Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! *thunk* The dog was barking her head off and charging the door headfirst. It was amazing.

EDIT: My cats sit on books too. And they like to stare out windows at birds. And torment our dogs. Last year, one of my multitudinous siblings was giving the cats treats, and the aforementioned Aussie investigated. They all jumped her at the same time and drove her down the stairs quite literally screaming. She would've had her tail between her legs, 'cept Aussies don't have tails :) I don't think she's recovered yet.

Sitting on books and magazines indeed. Our cat loves to do that too. "I don't care that you are reading that, I'm here now, so do as I wish. AND DON'T MOVE, OR I'LL MEAOW AT YOU!"

Lovable, aren't they? :D
