I've really got to hand it to myself

Good lord, what do you do with it when you're done cooking? Tell people you found a meteor fragment? Use it as a paperweight? Wait for a riot to break out so you can throw it through a window?

Slow cook at lower temps... Makes for very tender meats. Think roasts, briskets, etc. Very good stuff when done properly...

That's not one man. That's a small vilage.

Ranch dressing! I wouldn't have thought of that. I wanna try something like that now.

Heh. It's called slow-cooking. You'd cook pork normally at around 250 deg -- I cook it under 200. The fat breaks down and it's the most tender meat you've ever seen.

Great stuff.

Rat bastards! all I have had today is two pancakes and a handfull of chips. Need money.

Still, I make a mean Country Style Pork chop that folks rave over.

Mmmmm... nothing like a perfectly marinated steak, slow cooked, with a hint of pink on the inside.

Excuse me while I eat my whole grain fiber cereal and think of your steak. :)

Your Grill Fu is strong. My version of grilling is to par boil ribs and broil them smothered with bbq sauce in my oven. But then I've not studied the art.

Nice, I'll have to try that one. Some of the best steaks I've ever made resulted from a similar marinade:

olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder

I'll have to try yours sometime.

As a recent-ish convert to vegetarianism who still gets the meat craving occasionally, I just have to say that you're a big mean jerk for starting this thread.

Mmm, steak...
