I've been waching football mostly, well just about only football.
Too true. Good games today.

I also watched Adaptation. for the first time today. Wow. Just wow.

I have a ton of DVDs to watch such as Unforgiven, Alien Quad, Firefly...

Not enough time in the day.

I watched the firs discs for Yu Yu Hakusho, Descendants of Darkness, and Last Exile. Yu Yu Hakusho was more of a comedy than I thought it was going to be, but there was some interesting stuff going on underneath as well. Nicely done for an older show, and I'll see at least the second disc. Last Exile has some of the best design work I've ever seen, and the computer animation is very seamlessly integrated into the traditional animation unlike, says, Blue Submarine. Descendents is just very cool on all levels; pity there are only four discs for the series, with it continuing in manga format.

You may want to start a new thread to ask if there is a solution that anyone here knows for that problem, though it is possible someone might discover it here and answer if we're lucky. I seem to recall someone else had a similar problem and started a thread on it but I wasn't able to locate it with a quick search. Sorry.

No need. I took the player portion back to the store this weekend and exchanged it for one that will actually play DVDs. Now life is good. Now I am happy. :D

I just finished Alias season 2 yesterday. Wow. What a cool, cool show. I don't think that I'll be able to wait until season 3 comes out on DVD. I've got a coworker that tapes the show--I'll have to start badgering him until he lets me borrow season 3...

I think that the explanation of "for work" is probably enough considering the likelihood that delving further into the subject would lead to discussing subjects not appropriate to this forum or these boards. I'd prefer my thread stay mainly in the vein of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, please.

Not necessarily, he could say what he’s watching for (e.g. watching for a news agency looking for anything worth reporting) without commenting on the content it’s self.

The series actually gets a bit better as it goes, but from what i've seen, it falls short of the "movie" they did for it. If you can find that, unless of course you've seen it ;) , you'll probably like a lot better then the series. It's titled Poltergiest report, it came out in american ages before the ghost files series, and like i said i think it's waaay better.

Finished watching Season 2 of Babylon 5 so now I'm compelled to spend 80+ bucks on season 3...then season 4...then season 5. Thank god the madness will then stop!

Recently saw Re-Animator for the first time, been lookin' to get
my hands on these movies for quite some time.

Man, is Jeffrey Combs young or what? Very entertaining flick.

I watched The Mummy on DVD today. Next week (Monday), I am going to see the LOTR ROTK for the first time. I am looking forward to experiencing that movie!
