No, not at all. I think it was a great thing it was brought back for some closure. I just think that there was never any plan to renew it.

If the number of viewers had been there, there would have been a plan. In fact, the finale was filmed with both a ending appropriate for a season ending and series ending (with hopes of the former, obviously.) Considering how some shows are pulled nowdays after just a single episode if the ratings are bad, I don't see a a television network saying "Oh, we'll give this show another entire season but that's it." I think they really tried to raise awareness of the show with online episodes of the entire 1st season, and airing episodes on the Sci-Fi channel and Universal HD. There were fans, just not enough.LightPhoenix said:No, not at all. I think it was a great thing it was brought back for some closure. I just think that there was never any plan to renew it.

It depends on the number of fans.Ranger REG said:So, is it a bad thing to appease the fans?
Mistwell said:The announced plan was never "We plan on renewing this". The announced plan was "We planned on canceling this, the fans convinced us to give it one more shot. You have 8 episodes to pick up the ratings, or else we go back to cancellation. Prove our earlier decision wrong."
That doesn't make it not a great show. But, it does make it not a broadcast network show.

As long as they end it reasonably well tomorrow, I'm good.
