Job interview

I have an interview next Wednesday morning for a new job. I'll still be doing technical support but it will be for a local ISP instead of Comcast, and it'll be MUCH better pay. Almost a 50% increase.

Downside is it'll be shift work, which sucks... plus it'll be residential and not commerical.

But as long as I can still get Gencon and Christmas off, I'll be taking it I think.

Me too. Biggest problem right now is not getting over excited. I so want to get out of this place, but unless I pick up a better job elsewhere, my current plans won't see me out of here for 6 months to a year. Would have been sooner if day care funding hadn't of been cut

Step by step my good sir (or ma'am - got nailed for calling a sir a ma'am the other day, so I'm covering the bases just in case) ... Rome wasn't built in a day and all that stuff.

I am glad for the kiddo(s?) though that you will have a better job for them. Stable environments ain't magic recipes, but they can help sometimes, eh?

Well, I wouldn't be working directly with the kiddos, that's Seri. I'd be doing tech support and providing some software for daycare staff. Mostly selling software

But there's a LOT of work to be done. Including talking to lawyers >_<

It's mostly a nervous experience. I need to have a EULA on the software I'll be selling... Joy, now I'm on the other side of the piracy arguement.

Well, the interview went well, but my references need to be brought up to snuff. Busy doing that now.
