I thought Nicholson's Joker was wildly overrated, but for some reason I'm in the minority. At any rate, I hope they don't feel compelled to use some big name actor. They didn't with Bruce Wayne.

I don't think you're in the minority. It's one of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time but didn't age well. Hopefully they will do just that. Robin Williams' name gets batted around a lot for this, and I understand he's done some good dramatic work where he's not 'playing Robin Williams' if you understand what I mean, but I'm still unconvinced. I think an unknown or relative unknown does best for these kinds of things.

I always pictured someone with a taller, leaner figure than a rounder figure/face for Joker which is why I didn't like Jack Nicholson. Also why I wouldn't like Robin Williams. [I'm not saying either wouldn't/didn't do a good job; they just don't look the part to me and that kinda ruins it]

I hope with the Joker they add Harley Quinn. THAT would be sweet. :)

But the new Batman franchise is much grimmer. Harley is inherently funny. The Joker can be crazy-scary, but Harley Quinn was crazy-fun. I don't know how this new Batman series would work with a comic relief character, even though I am a huge fan of HQ.

True, but I still would like to see ONE movie with her in it and the best chance is with Joker. Besides, they still need a second villian. Any guesses on who that might be?

What major villians haven't been seen yet?

True. It would make a nice ending scene, though. At some point during the movie, this woman does something to let the Joker go free or eveade capture, something like that.

The ending credits. As they run, The Joker, in one of those Hannibal Lector hand-truck things, is wheeled down into the depths of Arkham Asylum. It's obvious that he's not getting out of there. But then after the credits are done, they wheel him into his cell and the same woman is there, dressed in a nice suit, holding a clipboard. Her nametag reads H. Quinzel. "Don't worry, Mistah J, we'll make you right at home, here," she says. The camera pans to the Joker, who slowly smiles....
